The deputy advisor of the supreme authority for the revival of heritage; Sayed Mohammed Mohammed Hassan, said that"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has always been interested in reviving the intellectual heritage by realizing the heritage of scholars in various fields, and this interest has been translated on the ground through the scientific centers opened by the holy shrine throughout various regions of the country".
He added that"the most important obstacles facing work in this field is the lack of specialized staff in the realization of manuscripts, as it is one of the sciences that need accuracy and specialization and need special specifications, so the authority has deliberately removed these obstacles through the opening of the Higher Institute of heritage".
For his part, the director of the institute; Sayed Abdul Hakim al-Safi, said that"nations and civilizations are distinguished by their outstanding scholars and their intellectual and scientific heritage. One of the blessings that Allah Almighty has singled out for us is the presence of scholars who took the responsibilities to write the letter, memorize the word, illuminate the mind, explain ideas, spread science, revive the nation, build Man and pave the way for him, as they were a distinctive sign, and the books and manuscripts left to us by those outstanding books and manuscripts decorated Islamic libraries in general and Shia in particular".
He added that "there are thousands of manuscript books waiting to be brought out of the darkness to the brightness of the light, as well as the manuscripts represent the legacy left by our righteous scholars, they kidnap the core of everyone who looked at them and overwhelmed with happiness and pride in this legacy, and that the manuscripts would not have reached us today if not for those noble men who painstakingly preserved them".
