2500 students chant the graduation oath at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

More than 2500 students repeated the graduation oath at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), within the activities of the central ceremony for the graduation of students of Iraqi universities; third batch of "Ala Hadiy al-Qamar".

The ceremony was launched on Friday (17/11/2023) under the slogan (from the land of Karbala, giving bears fruit), with the participation of more than 2500 students from 44 Iraqi public and private universities, and is held within the national project of the Al-Kafeel Youth of the public relations department at the holy shrine.

It began by reciting verses from the Holy Quran, then reciting the Fatiha surah in mercy on the souls of the righteous martyrs of Iraq, followed by taking the graduation oath of loyalty and honesty to serve the homeland and humanity, in front of the sanctuary of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), delivered by the member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine; Dr. Abbas al-Dada al-Mousawi, in which he stated, "I swear by Allah Almighty to observe Allah in my profession, to be one of the means of Allah's mercy, to sanctify human life, to preserve his dignity, to exert my care to the closest and farthest ones, to persevere in seeking knowledge, to use it for the benefit of man, to revere those who taught me, and for my life to be pure towards Allah, His Messenger, his household and believers!"he said.

The ceremony aims to highlight the true image of the outputs of Iraqi universities and the national unity of the people of Iraq, through the participation of students from all religions, sects and nationalities, to repeat the graduation oath in the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine holds its annual celebration, with various events and activities, in order to provide moral motivation for graduating students.
