The Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh al-Hasnawi, confirmed that the Al-Joud intravenous solutions laboratory, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, will contribute to achieving the country's pharmaceutical security, during his visit to the laboratory accompanied by the secretary general of the holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia'-Uddin, members of the board of Directors, Mr. Mohammed al-Ashiggr and Mr. Jawad al-Hasnawi, the head of the Engineering Projects Department, engineer Dia Majid al-Sa'egh, and the general supervisor of the Laboratory, engineer Haider Shaker Rasheed.
Al-Hasnawi said that"the Al-Joud laboratory for intravenous solutions is considered one of the advanced projects, and it includes the latest devices for the production of intravenous solutions, taking into account the annual need of Iraq, which reaches millions of bottles of solutions, instead of being imported from abroad, the product is National".
He added that "the plant is advanced and depends on the electronic system, and all stages of production are controlled by the automation system".
He explained that"the laboratory will contribute significantly and effectively to achieving the pharmaceutical security of Iraq, by providing millions of bottles of nutritious liquids, whether for the institutions of the Ministry of health or private sector institutions".
The Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced earlier that the completion rate at the Al-Joud intravenous solutions laboratory has reached (98) percent, and the laboratory is one of the public service projects through which the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine seeks to fill the shortage in the health sector and contribute to the development of pharmaceutical industries in Iraq.
