Hussaynyat of Qa'imiyah witnessed on the Monday of the 23rd of Muharram corresponding to the 17th of November, 2014 the start of the first annual cultural week of Heaven's road, held by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine under the slogan "The Zyarat of Arba'een: School of generations on the road of human perfection" that will last for seven days.
The opening ceremony was attended by a large crowd and many religious, cultural and academic figures as well as a high-level delegation from the Holy Shrine.
And, it has began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and a welcoming word from the people of Isfahan city: "We thank the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for setting up this cultural event that reflect the sense of responsibility to communicate with the lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon him) and make their occasions as confluence point, and we also thank the delegation of the holy shrine and their guests for bearing the travelling troubles and participating with us in the events of this week." Followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and the Islamic nation and all of the martyrs on the path of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
Followed by the word of the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which was delivered by the Deputy Head of the Department of Religious Affairs at the holy shrine; Sheikh Adil Al-Wakeel, who explained after presenting the condolences to the audience and the participants on the occasion of Ashura of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in which the sorrows of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon him) are renewed: "There is no doubt that everyone presents here has interaction of the issue of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) especially during the days of the grief of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the months of Muharram and Safar..."
Then, the host of the events of the cultural week (The Board of Qa'imiyah in Isfahan) delivered their word by Sheikh Mehdi Watheeqi in which he said: "Praise to God for giving us the opportunity to receive the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and we thank those working in it for answering our invitation to establish this cultural week that aims to revive God's rituals, hoping for the continuation of these kinds of events and activities..."
Followed by the word of the local government in the city of Isfahan, delivered by the member of its municipal council Engineer Haj Rasooli, in which he welcomed those who attended, participated and contributed so that Isfahan city get the honour to host this cultural week, as it is known by its loyalty and pure Hussayni passion..."
The ceremony included Hussayni chants performed by As-Salam band from the city of Isfahan, then the attendees went for the opening ceremony of the events of the cultural week.
