Banners of Fatimi grief are hang over the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine

The atmosphere of sadness was clouded over the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, by the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the second narration.

The assistant head of the Department of Courtyard Care; Sheikh Zain al-Abideen al-Quraishi, said that"the Holy Shrine spread the signs of sadness and black banners, marking the arrival of the Fatimi season of grief and the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her)".

He added that "a number of figures were erected in a square between the Two Holy Shrines and inside the Holy Courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and outside the city of Karbala in the provinces of Baghdad, Diyala and Mosul, in cooperation with the religious guidance; with the aim of embodying the oppression of az-Zahra (peace be upon her) by simulating the Islamic heritage".

Al-Quraishi pointed out that" the Holy Courtyard witnessed the completion of the process of spreading black banners and putting phrases indicating the injustice of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), "pointing out that"the work of reviving this sad occasion will continue for several days and includes the establishment of councils and lectures."
