The Husseini Rites and Processions Department commemorates the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her)

The Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world, affiliated with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn al-Abbas (peace be upon them), held a condolence Council to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The head of the Department; Sayed Aqeel Abdul Hussein al-Yasiri, said that"the council was attended by a gathering from the servants and visitors of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him), and comes within the Fatimi season of grief in its seventeenth edition, and lasts for three days".

He added, "Sheikh Hussein Manahi ascended the pulpit, and touched upon the biography of the Lady of the women of the worlds(peace be upon her) and her oppression after her father (Allah's prayers be pon him and upon his holy Household), and she bore a great burden to defend the banner of prophecy and the Imamate."

"The council concluded with a sad elegy that mimics the tragedy of the martyrdom anniversary of Fatima az-Zahra(peace be upon her), whose fate left a great wound and great pain in the hearts of believers, amid an atmosphere of sadness that overshadowed those present,"al-Yasiri continued.
