The doctors of Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital performed a successful surgery for a thirty-year-old patient who suffered multiple fragmentary fractures in the elbow bone, in addition to other fractures in the radius and ulna.
Dr. Haitham al-Asadi, a specialist in fracture surgery at the hospital, said," We performed a complex surgery for a thirty-year-old patient with a fragmentary fracture of the elbow bone, in addition to a fracture of the head of the radius bone and another fragmentary fracture beginning of the ulna, with dislocation and rupture inside the elbow ligaments, " describing these fractures as complex that puts the surgeon in front of a great challenge to give the best result to the patient.
"We were able to restore the shattered bones to their normal position without any health complications for the patient," he added, noting that " these operations are carried out periodically in the hospital as a result of the cumulative experience of the medical team, in addition to the availability of the components of their success in terms of devices and technologies."
