The head of the Husseini rites and processions Department in Iraq and the Islamic world, affiliated with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them); Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said that "the processions of the people of Karbala gather with their ranks, parties and bodies, in cooperation with the rites Department to descend with a unified condolences procession representing the people of the city, to offer condolences on this sad occasion in the hearts of the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), on the nartyrdom anniversary of al-Qasim son of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon them)".
He added,"the procession of the people of Karbala, upon arrival at the holy shrine, held a condolence Council, in which many Husseini poems and lamentations were delivered, which expressed the painful occasion, with the participation of a large gathering of mourners visitors."
For his part, the deputy secretary general of the shrine of al-Qasim (peace be upon him) Sheikh Ahmad Jubeir said that "the unified procession of the people of the holy city of Karbala used to commemorate this sad anniversary every year," indicating that "the people of the city of al-Qasim (peace be upon him) are eagerly awaiting the procession, because the poems recited in the mourning are of a sad Karbala character."
