The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine participates in the review of crisis management

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participated in the review of the Civil Defense Directorate for crisis management and the way to deal with natural disasters in the province of Karbala.

The official of the Occupational Safety Division in the Office of the secretary general of the holy shrine, Mr. Bilal Jabbar Jassim, said that "the staff of the holy shrine actively participated in the crisis management review held by the Directorate of civil defense in Holy Karbala in cooperation with the directorates of all departments, and the supporting bodies with a number of specialized vehicles".

He added that"the event reviewed the state's organized effort to confront natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods and fires, in cooperation with other state departments and supporting bodies such as the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) and the Red Crescent".

"The Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine is always ahead of the curve in assigning civil defense teams, by setting up Basin vehicles and providing water to fight fires in the Old City and places near the Two Holy Shrines to reduce losses of life and property in the event of disasters,"he added.
