Al-Ameed University has received an advanced rank in the internationally accredited crane Matrix Academic Ranking of government and private universities and colleges for the year (2023).
The director of the Department of quality assurance and university performance, Mr. Ahmed Sabeeh, said, "within the tagged plan prepared by the University President, Dr. Jawdat Nouri al-Jash'ami, and scientific assistant; Dr. Maytham Hamid al-Qanbar, and in cooperation with the quality assurance department, the relentless scientific efforts and continuous giving in the field of teaching and learning have borne fruit, as the university has achieved an advanced rank in the internationally accredited academic rating (green Matrices) for public and private universities and colleges for the year (2023), which is of international scientific and academic specifications universities of developed countries".
He added that"the University ranked (624) globally and ranked (19) at the level of public and private universities, with a difference of (9) ranks from last year, and (74) Iraqi universities had participated in the ranking for (2023)".
Sabeeh continued that "the Green Matrices classification, which is internationally approved and concerned with sustainability, depends on many axes, including infrastructure, as it received (775) degrees in this axis, while in the energy and climate axis it received (1400) degrees, in the water treatment axis it received (700) degrees, in the waste treatment axis it received (900) degrees, in the education and scientific research axis it received (1075) degrees, and in the field of transport it scored (1050) degree, and therefore the total score obtained by the University in all axes is (5900) degrees".
Al-Ameed University continues to participate in International University Rankings, including the RUR rating, the QS rating, the Times Global Rating, the Green Matrices rating, and other international rankings, according to Sabeeh.
