The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the third narration, through a condolence Council in the state of Nigeria.
The establishment of the council was overseen by the Department's Centre for African Studies.
The director of the center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that " the center held a condolence Council to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), according to the third narration, in the Nigerian city of Nasrao, in the presence of a gathering of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".
He added that"the council was established under the supervision of Sheikh Mohammed al-Tayeb, and witnessed a lecture by Sheikh Abdullah Rabaa and Sheikh Hashim Youssef, which dealt with the injustice that befell the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) after his martyrdom".
He continued that"the council shed light on the virtues of Lady az-Zahra(peace be upon her) and her blessed biography, and provided examples of her knowledge, eloquence and wisdom".
