National Council for accreditation of medical colleges: Al-Kafeel University Medical College is ready to achieve national standards

The head of the National Council for accreditation of medical colleges at the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Yusra Abdel Rahman, confirmed that the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Kafeel University is ready to achieve national accreditation standards.

This came during Al-Kafeel University's hosting of the National Council for the accreditation of medical colleges, to organize specialized workshops on Accreditation mechanisms and prepare the required documents to obtain accreditation by the council.

Abdel Rahman said that "the National Council for accreditation of medical colleges held a training course to prepare the National Resident team for the third group hosted by Al-Kafeel University, and all energies were harnessed to provide the requirements of the training course".

"We have noticed the great interest in the accreditation process and the achievement of national standards by the Faculty of Medicine at the University, although it is new, but it is taking steady and deliberate steps to achieve national accreditation standards,"she added.

"At the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Kafeel university, we found great interest and high preparations, both in terms of construction and teaching methods and medical education, which are all focused on achieving national standards,"she continued.

She concluded by saying that"a college like this with such specifications and attention must reach the goal, although it is a new college at the beginning of the journey, and as long as the basis is correct, the result will be good".

The workshops were held in the presence of Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Deda al-Mousawi, member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and a number of academics and specialists from inside and outside the University.
