A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital successfully removed a bone tumor from the leg area of a ten-year-old girl.

The specialist in orthopedics and traumatology at the hospital; Dr. Burayr Mohammad al-Asadi, "The operation was complicated, because the tumor caused problems in the growth of the tibia bone,"he said.

He added," We succeeded in removing the tumor completely with cleaning the place and compensating for the lack of bone with an artificial one, in addition to taking a bone from the left hip area of the same patient, "pointing out that"these operations are carried out continuously in the hospital as a result of their success".
