As part of a project implemented in (13) African countries.. The Department of Intellectual Affairs opens a new well in Tanzania

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has opened a new well in the state of Tanzania as part of the project (Saqi Atasha Karbala).

The implementation of the project is supervised by the African Studies Center of the Department.

The director of the center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that"the center opened, in conjunction with the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), a new well in the state of Tanzania, which is part of the center's project to drill wells in various countries of Africa, which was marked with the title (Saqi Atasha Karbala)".

"The number of Wells has reached more than twenty wells within this project, which aims to provide life opportunities and its components for humans in the African community, which suffers from an acute shortage of water,"he added.

He pointed out that "the center continues to work on the project, and it has been implemented in more than (13) African countries, pointing to the provision of all the necessary capabilities to open several wells soon."
