Khair al-Joud Company outlines the objectives of establishing the agricultural research and experiments station

Khair Al-Joud company for modern industrial and agricultural technology at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has outlined the objectives of establishing the agricultural research and experimentation station.

Falah al-Fatli, consulting engineer at the company, said that "there are two goals of establishing the agricultural research and experimentation station of the company, the first is scientific research by experimenting all fertilizers and nutrients that are produced, because the company is specialized in manufacturing fertilizers of all kinds and environmentally friendly biocides, and testing products to demonstrate their efficiency and then put them on the market to supply the agricultural sector with quality fertilizers that contribute to increasing production through plant nutrition".

He added,"the second objective of the station is the guidance aspect by applying the techniques and using the available local means, taking the idea and experience and applying them in practice, relying on these means to disseminate them after their success to benefit the farmer".

Al-Fatli continued that " the company has achieved high success in its agricultural experiments, adopting the latest scientific methods, and adopted the cultivation of a number of crops, including cherry tomatoes, lettuce, eggplant, using hydroponics (floating Agriculture) approved globally," explaining that the aim of resorting to hydroponics is to rationalize the use of water sources, in addition to the exploitation of land unsuitable for agriculture or unsuitable for any crop due to its high salinity."
