The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in Pakistan held a research session on the biography of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), within the activities of the first women festival.
The festival is held by the Institute of the heritage of the prophets for electronic Hawza Studies/Urdu branch of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine in cooperation with Al-Kawthar University in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, under the slogan (Lady Fatima our role model), on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and lasts for three days.
Sheikh Nasser Abbas Najafi, the festival's program officer, said that "the festival included multiple activities, including a research session at Al-Mustafa Hall at Al-Kawthar University, as we extended an invitation a while ago to researchers from all over Pakistan to write research and participate in it."
He added that " there 20 researches that are participating in this session, all of them on various topics exposed to the favor of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and her stature," pointing out that "there is a committee tasked with evaluating the participating researches and has selected five researches of women who attended the event and presented their research in front of the audience."
He continued that"the delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine presented shields to the participants in honor of them, and the first winner was honored with the banner of Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)".
According to Najafi,"the end of the session included a speech by the head of the Religious Affairs Department at the holy shrine, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, during which he stressed the need to know the virtues and lofty positions of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and called for focusing on reviving the birth of the immaculate Lady Fatima (peace be upon her), in a way that suits her greatness and status."
