At the Al-Kafeel Hospital.. Saving a patient from the risk of paralysis

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital successfully operated on a young woman who was at risk of paralysis of the lower extremities, for the presence of a deformity in the posterior chamber of the brain and spinal cord.

A specialist in neurosurgery at the hospital, Dr. Hossam al-Anbari, " we performed a special operation on a patient in the third decade of life, who was suffering from severe weakness in the lower extremities as a result of the presence of a water cyst on the spinal cord, in addition to a deformity in the posterior chamber of the brain and severe pressure from the cerebellum on the spinal cord.

He added, "We performed the operation without any health complications, and through it we were able to remove the compression of the spinal cord, in addition to removing the water cyst on the spinal cord, after which the patient returned to her normal life," while attributing this success to the availability of medical expertise and advanced devices in the hospital."
