The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine celebrates (500) girls who have reached the age of Takleef in Pakistan

The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in Pakistan celebrated the entry of (500) girls of the age of Takleef (religious duty), coinciding with the birth anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The ceremony, which comes as part of the first women festival commemorating the birth anniversary of Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), is being organized by the Institute of the heritage of the prophets/ Urdu branch of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine in cooperation with Al-Kawthar University in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The celebration ceremony included holding a group prayer for the girls, giving instructional speeches to the head of the Religious Affairs Department at the holy shrine and one of the members of the delegation, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, speeches of Sayed Mohsen al-Najafi, Sheikh Anwar al-Najafi, a presentation of the names of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her) and making religious Muwashahat.

"In compliance with the directives of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, we have organized an important event, which is a ceremony to be held for the first time in Pakistan, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the immaculate Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) to celebrate girls who have reached the age of Takleef,"Karbalai said.

"The ceremony witnessed the crowning of a group of girls in Islamabad and some nearby cities, amid a large public presence and an atmosphere full of joys," he added, noting that "the commissioning ceremony aims to consolidate the Islamic culture in the souls of girls and urge them to adhere to the teachings of their religion, and take care of the role of Muslim women in building a respected Islamic Society."

According to al-Karbalai,"the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine sponsors many religious, cultural and intellectual events, based on its vision to spread sound ideas in society, including religious duty and hijab".

The ceremony concluded with a tribute from the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine to the staff working on the success of the festival, and a tribute by the festival to the delegation of the Holy Shrine.
