The events of the second day of the sixth spirit of prophecy international women cultural festival witnessed the presentation of a Quranic Muwashah to the Naba' al-Joud Quranic band.
The festival is held by the division of Al-Kafeel women's religious schools at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, under the slogan (Fatima az-Zahra -peace be upon her- gathering the two lights; the prophecy and the Imamate) on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of the immaculate lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), highlighting her thought and virtues through a number of events, with the participation of more than (14) Arab and foreign countries.
Dr. Esraa al-Akrawi, media officer of the Holy Quran women's Institute at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, said that "the activities of the Quranic session within the second day of the festival included a quality and sincere collective recitation of Surah al-Tariq in a Quranic Muwashah presented by the Naba' al-Joud Quranic band to primary school girls, supervised by the division of Al-Kafeel women's religious schools in cooperation with the Holy Quran women's Institute".
She added that "the session was punctuated by the presentation of a theatrical performance based on the stories of the Holy Quran, which came under the title (a believer in the palace of the Pharaoh), presented by a group of young girls reviewed the life of Lady Asiya bint Muzahem". She pointed out that"the aim is to convey the idea that true faith is not limited to the righteous environment, but God gives faith to a person with a pure heart and sincere intention, even in the most cruel places".
"The Quranic session included the establishment of a group reading of the Holy Quran, which was read by a group of female readers from inside and outside Iraq, who had participated in international competitions, in addition to the establishment of the Quranic team competition between two teams of memorizers of the Holy Quran,"Al-Akrawi said.
