This came within the activities of the festival, which is organized by the division of Al-Kafeel women's religious schools at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, under the slogan (Fatima az-Zahra; gathering the two lights; the prophecy and the imamate) on the occasion of the auspicious birth anniversary of the immaculate lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), to highlight her thought and virtues through a number of events.
The workshop, which was held at the Siddiqa Tahira Center, was attended by the assistant president of Al-Kafeel University, Dr. Nawal Ayed Haloul, and touched upon the cooperation of concerned authorities, including the educational side, family counseling, and the media, to face the challenges raised by the use of social media.
In an effort to reach effective solutions, the workshop included three themes dedicated to children, parents, and the community, and divided the attendees into interactive groups in order to exchange views on the negative effects and how to address them in order to reach results that enhance positive communication and improve the educational impact on the family and society in general.
During the workshop, the variety of effects arising from the use of social networking sites was demonstrated, pointing to problems such as digital bullying and mental disorders.
The event concluded with an invitation to join hands and exchange ideas to come up with solutions that enhance positive communication and improve the educational impact on the family and society.
