The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has mobilized the efforts of its service departments to provide services to visitors coming to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the first Thursday night of the month of Rajab.
The head of the Courtyard Care Department at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine, Mr. Khalil Hanoun, said that "the holy shrine received thousands of believers who came to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the first Thursday night of the month of Rajab, known as (Laylat al-Ragha'eb: night of desires), at the Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them)".
He added that "the staff of the holy shrine has exhausted all its efforts to provide services to the masses of visitors, by opening the basements to accommodate the largest number of them, and creating places dedicated to the congregational prayers, as well as distributing books on the work of this blessed month and the following months".
"We have worked to provide pieces of new carpets during these blessed days in the holy sanctuary, in addition to making special corridors to facilitate the smooth movement of visitors, who flock in large numbers on such nights,"he added.
