Intellectual Affairs Department: we have completed more than (88) titles in 2023

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the issuance of more (88) titles in multiple disciplines during 2023.

The head of the Department; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said that"the department was able, through its various divisions and centers, to produce (88) titles with multiple specialties within one year".

He added that"the titles issued by the department this year were represented by(5) encyclopedias consisting of a set of volumes, and (83) books, including religious, scientific, heritage, intellectual, cultural and documentary books.

"As for the refereed scientific periodicals, the department has issued (13) issues of (4) approved scientific journals for the purposes of scientific promotions, as well as a large number of magazines and cultural publications,"he continued.

Al-Yasiri stressed that "these products are not the result of the moment, but are a pre-planned product, and are not limited to the issuance of books only, but all the projects handled by the department such as conferences, festivals, cultural and intellectual activities and projects inside and outside Iraq, and are part of an approach taken by the department with the support and generous care by the holy shrine, headed by the Senior Official and secretary-general, to provide new and useful books to the community".

"Every year we celebrate the harvest of successes, but most of all we have achieved the goals set, which comes only through concerted efforts and the Union of determination,"he said.
