The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine organizes the central ceremony on the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized the annual central ceremony on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Commander of the faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

The ceremony was held in the courtyard overlooking the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the presence of the member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Mohammad al-Ashigar, the director of the Office of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, a number of its officials, heads of departments and employees, and many Hawza and social figures, in addition to a large gathering of visitors.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by a group of students of the national project of the prince of readers, followed by standing up to read Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq and scholars and those who responded to the fatwa of efficient defense, followed by the speech of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine delivered by the head of the scientific complex of the Holy Quran, Dr. Mushtaq Al-Ali.

The ceremony witnessed the recitation of a poem from the vertical poetry of the poet Dr. Hazem Rashek and another from the popular poetry of the poet Abu Mohammed al-Mayahi.

The ceremony concluded with the announcement of the names of the ten winners of the electronic competition launched by the Department of intellectual and cultural affairs for the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
