The condolence procession began with the gathering of the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the courtyard of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and set off towards the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine passing through a square between the Two Holy Shrines, chanting the Karbala elegies, to commemorate this solemn occasion.
When the procession arrived at the shrine's courtyard of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), a condolence council was held with the participation of a large number of mournful visitors, in which many Husseini poems and lamentations were delivered, which embodied the situations that Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) was exposed to in the al-Taf tragedy, and her support for the Husseini cause and her defense of the authentic Mohammadian religion.
The servants of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in Holy Karbala comes out with special condolence processions, on the occasions of the martyrdom anniversaries of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) throughout the year.
