The staff of the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine starts laying a new light cable at the Lady Zaynab (p) Shrine

The staffs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have begun laying and wiring a new light cable in the courtyard of Lady Zaynab (p) holy shrine.

The official of the Communications Division of the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine, engineer Firas Abbas Hamza, said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has started laying and wiring a new optical cable at the Lady Zaynab (p) Holy Shrine, as the old network was wires and hubs inside a plastic box in the roof of the courtyard, and it is prone to downtime due to various weather conditions and weather fluctuations, and suffers from a slow technical data transfer rate that does not exceed (100 megabytes)".

He added that "the staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, in cooperation with the staff of the Lady Zaynab (p) Shrine, engineers and technicians, began to connect the new cable and install (7) - Rack-with (odf) connection in each Rack, distributed according to a specific planning and a prior study to maintain its safety".

Hamza explained that" the works included the transfer of cables to rooms dedicated to them, to preserve them from the surrounding weather conditions, "pointing out that"the volume of data transfer will become after the completion of the works (10 gigabytes) per second, and the data transfer will be linked to the IP system."
