The descendants of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) from the Sayeds servants, are participating in providing services to the visitors of their grandfather in his Arba'een..

Since the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) were only covered with silk curtains, the Sayeds servants were their to serve their visitors, and since the call them "guards and servants of the holy shrine."

And, like every year, they are present in all the cities of the visitors and the host houses of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to participate in the service of the visitors of their grandfather Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in his Arba'een, offering all kind of services even the smallest, cooking and distributing tee and water to the visitors walking towards the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).

The Sayeds servants, with their traditional uniforms, are also deployed inside the holy shrine to participate into the conduct of the procession and the regulation of the visitors flow, as well as in maintaining the cleanliness of the holy shrine all the day long, by helping in removing the carpets when it is time of the passage of the condolences processions and putting them back after the end of the condolences rituals for performing the Congregational prayer.
