The Department of maintaining order is making extraordinary efforts for the success of the Zyarat Arba'een and its staff assert that the visitors' security is their responsibility...

The security plan is the most important plan developed by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the visitors of the Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), as it is the base of the success of this Zyarat performed by millions, so the staff of the Department make extraordinary efforts to maintain the security and safety of the visitors during the Zyarat of Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Mr. Hussein Reda, head of the department of maintaining order explained to the Al-Kafeel Network: "with the approach of the Zyarat, we make coordination meetings with the local government in the province, Operations Commanders, police Directorate of Karbala and all service departments, and the tasks are divided between the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine and the department of between the holy shrines, there is a special joint operation section to coordinate the work between them and the police directorate of Karbala represented by the security regiment of the area between the two holy shrines."

Adding: "The Department's employees were deployed along with some volunteers from other departments and outside the holy shrine on all vital points and entrances of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, taking into account the areas where the crowding and the intensity of visitors are the most, trying to take advantage of the experiences that we have encountered in previous years in order to get to the best of security services of the visitors. The department has a common work with the Communication Division to take advantage of the video surveillance system, through the installed screens in the department, which is associated with the system of surveillance cameras as it contributes to control any situation that would disturb the spirituality of this blessed Zyarat, in addition of deploying a number of intelligence elements for the purpose of providing intelligence support."
