The crowds of believers mourn the symbolic coffin of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) in al-Kadhemiya

Millions of visitors concluded the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) with a solemn funeral of his symbolic coffin at his holy shrine in the city of Kadhemiya.

Symbolic mourning is an annual tradition that was keen to be established by the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) on this day; as an expression of their sadness and suffering from this sad tragedy on the day of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) on the twenty-fifth of the month of Rajab.

Religious and social figures and large crowds of visitors participated in the symbolic funeral ceremonies, recalling what happened to the oppressed Imam, which was fraught with huge crowds through a march of faith.

The coffin was received with reverence, prestige and shedding tears by the mourners in the holy shrine of the two imams (peace be upon them) in the Kahdemiya, and the condolence ceremonies began with the obituary and lamentation of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon them), and the ceremonies concluded with the reading of the story of the martyrdom of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).

The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine participated through a special plan developed earlier to serve the visitors to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him).
