A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Holy Karbala has achieved outstanding success in kidney transplants.

Dr. Asaad Abdel Aoun, a specialist in kidney surgery, said,"We have achieved remarkable success with kidney transplants in the hospital, and this success is due to the availability of the appropriate working environment to perform these delicate operations, such as high expertise, modern devices and technologies, as well as the availability of isolation rooms for patients after the operation."

He added that"a successful surgery was performed on a patient in the third decade of life suffering from severe renal impairment, indicating that the patient was carefully prepared for the operation and carried out all the necessary medical tests to avoid the occurrence of health complications for him".

"The operation was carried out as planned, and the patient's kidneys were replaced through it, and he is now in recovery and in good health,"Abdel Aoun pointed out.
