13.742 Services and condolences' processions and Hussayni bodies participate in the commemoration of the ritual of Zyarat Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and thousands others have not been registered..

The head of the Department of rituals, processions and Hussayni bodies in Iraq and in the Islamic world of the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them), Haj Ryad Ne'mah has declared to the Al-Kafeel Global Network: "The number of processions and Hussayni bodies participating in the commemoration of the ritual of Zyarat Arba'een of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) is of 13.742, including 48 Arab and Islamic procession, as well as thousands of processions we couldn't register, in addition to the participation of procession from the areas fighting against terrorism and terrorists."

He added: "The number of the processions located within the administrative borders of the province have exceeded 6715 services and condolences' processions and Hussayni bodies (Zinjil and Latm) and that were deployed on all the roads leading to Karbala, and were either setting up Hussayni mourning activities or providing services to the visitors through offering them food, drinks, and accommodation all for free."

Explaining that: "The Department has registered these processions previously and has deployed its employees to take note of any violation and negative situation in order to avoid them in the future and they help them also to organize their march. Noting that a number of meetings preceding the Arba'een season were held with the agents and owners of these processions in order to have th e best results that would suit the sanctity and the spirituality of the Zyarat and its status, and work to overcome all kind of obstacles."
