Al-Kafeel Museum delegation visits publishing houses and book titles at the International Book Fair in Najaf

The delegation of the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine paid a visit to the third International Book Fair in Najaf province.

The head of the delegation, Mr. Hussein al-Wa'eli, said that "the delegation of the Al-Kafeel Museum visited the Najaf International Book Fair for its third session, held under the slogan (from Najaf to Jerusalem), as the visit came in order to enrich the museum library with various sources that aim at enhancing the knowledge fields in the museum".

He added that"the Najaf Book Fair this year is the largest, as it embraced more than a million printed books and with the participation of more than (300) printing, publishing and distribution houses from inside and outside Iraq".

The exhibition's activities will last for ten days, interspersed with seminars and workshops for writers, authors, institutions and publishing houses, with the aim of perpetuating culture and encouraging reading in society.
