The launch of the fifth conference of medical and engineering specialties at Al-Kafeel University with a wide international participation

Al-Kafeel University launched the activities of its fifth international scientific conference (ISCKU 2024) for medical specialties, engineering and pure sciences with the participation of 18 Arab and foreign countries.

The conference will be held for the duration 17th to 18th of this month in cooperation with Al-Kafeel Super speciality Hospital, Al-Ameed and Toledo American universities and Al-Ameed scientific and intellectual Association.

The conference was attended by members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, its officials, heads of its departments, official and academic figures, a number of university presidents and directors of Iraqi hospitals.

The opening events began with the reading of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Ammar al-Hilli, followed by the reading of the Fatiha Surah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, then the playing of the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine (the melody of pride), followed by the speech of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine by Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, and then the speech of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research by the representative of the minister and president of the University of Kufa Dr. Yasser Al-Akili, and then the speech of the Deputy Minister Dr. Haydar Abd Dahad and the speech of the Al-Kafeel university by Dr. Nawras Shahid al-Dahan.

The conference includes many scientific and research events, where the number of researches reached more than (1000) researches, of which ( 670) were accepted, and the number of international researches participating in the conference reached (47) researches, from ( 18) countries, namely: (USA, UK, Russia, China, Spain, Australia, Iran, Malaysia, India, Turkey, Bulgaria, South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria), as well as Iraq represented by (Ministry of higher education and scientific research, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of water resources), noting that all accepted research will be published in international classified journals.
