The administration of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine conducts a tour of the oases of the southern green belt

The administration of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine conducted a tour of the oases of the southern green belt in Karbala governorate.

The tour was conducted by Deputy Secretary General, Engineer Abbas Musa Ahmed, board member Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, director of the Office of the Senior Official; Mr. Afdhal al-Shami, and a number of department heads and officials.

The head of the northern and Southern Green Belt Department, Mr. Nasser Hussein Miteb, said, "under the guidance of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the department extended an invitation to the officials of the holy shrine to visit the oases of the green belt to study the environmental situation and prepare for important development projects in the region."

"The visit comes within the efforts of the holy shrine to contribute to the preservation of the environment and promote sustainable development, and reflects the firm commitment to the values of nature conservation,"he added.

"The delegation inspected various sites within the southern green belt," he added, noting that"this step is important in promoting sustainability and development in the region".
