The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds a development course for students of religious sciences from African communities

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a development course for students of religious sciences from African communities residing in Iraq.

The director of the Center for African Studies of the Department; Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that " the center held a development course for students of religious sciences from the African community residing in Iraq," pointing out that "the course comes within a series of courses, aimed at developing the communication capabilities of participants, and introducing them to the means of delivering information and consolidating it with the recipient."

He added that"the course witnessed the presentation of a lecture by Dr. Mustafa al-Ibrahimi, during which he discussed modern methods of religious preaching, communicating with the masses to achieve the goal and deliver the message to be delivered and consolidated to them".

"The students participating in the course represented a number of African countries, most notably Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Ivory Coast and Ethiopia,"he added.

For their part, the students appreciated the efforts of the management of the Center for African Studies in developing their communication and cognitive abilities, and providing ways to ensure the success of their mission and miessage in the African continent.
