The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provided clothes and stationery for the diabetes children's Care Association in Babylon governorate, in accordance with the direction of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to form a delegation from the holy shrine to visit the Association and meet a number of its needs.
The director of the diabetes children's Care Association in Babylon, Mrs. Lina al-Shammari, said that"the initiative is the first of its kind at the level of Iraq, as the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, under the direct auspices of its Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, provided various supplies for diabetic children in the province.
She added that "the supplies provided by the Holy Shrine for the 3,400 children registered with the diabetes children's Care Association were represented by (school clothes, stationery, shoes, bags) and these materials included children of all ages".
She pointed out that"this initiative came in conjunction with the birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) to meet the needs of children".
Al-Shammari expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and all the efforts that contribute to supporting the association.
