The Relief Committee of the Displaced at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues its supporting program of the displaced families that resorted to the holy city of Karbala, and which numbers exceeded 25 thousands the displaced. The Department of Immigration in the holy city of Karbala and in coordination with the relief committee of the displaced relying on their own data, have distributed a set of household electrical appliances distributed to those families, according to the statement of the head of the mentioned committee Sayed. Nafi' Ni'mah Al-Musawi to the Al-Kafeel Network: "The fact that the Committee is in direct contact with the displaced families, makes it well-informed of their essential needs, and which has, from the first moment of their arrival to the holy city of Karbala, provided them with the accommodation and also with other essential requirements within the possibilities of the holy shrine. And because of the cold weather of the winter, most of those families live in the Hussaynyat scattered on the roads leading to the holy city, and that suffer from many problems that requires the providing of some electrical appliances."

And added: "After conducting extensive meetings with the Department of Immigration in the holy city of Karbala, from which the relevant authorities decided to provide some electrical appliances such as water heaters, refrigerators, cookers and water tanks, and the department in collaboration with the stuff of our committee has distributed the according to the need of each family."

At the end of his speech, Sayed Nafi' has called the central government and the relevant authorities to put a government program commensurate with the size of the suffering of the displaced families who has been exposed to the worst forms of terrorism, murder and torture by the hands of "Da'esh" gangs, as well as suffering from their children's kidnapping by the extremist groups who have forced them to leave their homes, and he has also called to find radical and comprehensive solutions to the problems faced by the displaced, pointing out that many of these problems require a significant potential and need greater concerted efforts.

It is to mention that out of its moral duty that goes along with the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority to stand with the displaced families, the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has formed an ad hoc committee to oversee the reception of displaced people coming from the hotspots that witnessed killings and displacement, and works to create the accommodation necessities and living conditions, within the available means for this purpose.
