Al-Ameed University honors its female students wearing the Abaya Zaynabiya

Al-Ameed University honored its committed female students by wearing the Abaya Zaynabiya on campus.

This came within the activities of the fifth (birth of Hope) Festival, which is held by the Department of psychological counseling and educational guidance at the University.

The festival was held in the presence of a number of members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the director of the Office of the Senior Official of the holy shrine, in addition to a number of heads of university departments and Officials, Educational and administrative staff at the University, and a large number of students.

The chairman of the Higher Education Authority at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Deda al-Mousawi, said: "honoring the female students came in recognition of the female students who are committed to wearing the Abaya Zaynabiya, being the mainstay of society and a solid pillar in it, and this honor is commensurate and consistent with our values and goals on which we grew up."

For his part, the rector of the University, Dr. Jawdat Nuri al-Jash'ami, said: "the honor included the female students following the exemple of Lady Fatima az-Zahra and Lady Zaynab al-Hawra (peace be upon them), by wearing the Abaya Zaynabiya."

"The university is keen to organize events and festivals to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt ( peace be upon them), to strengthen the students' attachment to their sound approach,"al-Jash'ami added.

Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, Sayed Laith al-Mousawi, Sayed Kadhem Obada, the director of the Office of the Senior Official at the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, the president of the University, Dr. Gouda Nouri al-Jash'ami, in addition to the director of the Office of the Senior Official for women's Affairs; Mrs. Mona Wael, as well as the head of the division of Al-Kafeel women's religious schools; Mrs. Bushra al-Kenani, took turns honoring the students.
