The servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) convey their condolences to Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on the martyrdom's anniversary of his grandson Imam Al-'Askari (peace be upon him)..

On the eighth of the Rabi' Al-Awwal we commemorate the painful anniversary of the martyrdom of the eleventh moon, Imam Al-Hassan Al-'Askari (peace be upon him). And, like in the rest of the holy sites and shrines in the commemoration of the martyrdom's anniversary of the Imams (peace be upon him), the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine rose the black flags and was covered in black and enlightened with red lights to manifest the sorrow and grief, and a funeral Majliss was held in the hall of honours, that included a religious lecture and elegiac Majliss.

A condolence procession of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was launched from his holy shrine towards the holy shrine of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), chanting lamentations that describe the outrageousness of this tragedy and finally arriving to the courtyard of the Master Abi Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) for setting up a condolence Majliss where they were reading elegies and some threnodies, with the intense presence of the visitors who were performing their rituals in the holy shrine.

The two holy shrines have also received many visitors and the condolence procession that came from inside Karbala and beyond to convey their condolences to the Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), as well as holding a number of awareness religious lectures speaking about the greatness of this personality and the oppression and injustice from which he (peace be upon him) has suffered.
