The formations of the combat squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) participate in a large-scale military operation to purge the south of Salahuddin province. Its supervisor Mr. Maytham Al-Zaydi explained to the Al-Kafeel Global Network: "This operation was launched on Friday morning the 10th of Rabi' Al-Awwal 1436 AH, corresponding to the 2nd of December 2015, and it aims to purge the province of Salahuddin from the last bastions of "ISIS" organization."

Adding: "This operation takes place in the remaining part of the village "Sayed Ghareeb" and the areas of "Aal Shebl" and "Refey'at."
And stating: "The forces of the combat squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has participated in this sudden and violent attack of the brave army forces that were backed-up by the Federal Police and the forces of the popular mobilization."

Adding: "The unit of artillery and missile that is one of the squad's formations has stormed the strongholds of these stray groups by launching hundreds of bursts and rocket artillery, taking advantage of the informations provided by the field reconnaissance aircraft, which entered service for the first time within the formations of the squad in the operation of "Sayed Al-Ma" in Qte' Balad and Dujayl, where it monitored the enemy movements and gave the exact coordinates to the forces in this part."
Stressing: "We will -InshaAllah- bring good tidings of victory to the Iraqi people in the coming days."

It is worth mentioning that the heroes and fighters of the combat squad of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) had military operations in Qte' Balad and Dujayl, and have contributed effectively in the liberation of those areas. Among the operations:

Intense missile attack by the unit of the artillery and missile, which carried out multiple strikes in Qate', during the purging operations implemented by the army and the popular mobilization forces. Also, its heroic forces have killed more than six snipers from the criminals of ISIS, who were mostly foreign nationals and who were deployed in the area of Sayed Ghareeb. In addition to the participation of the combat squad's forces in the purging operation of these areas through the incursion along with the attacking units.
