Celebrating Teacher's day... Al-Kafeel Scout Association honors (2120) teachers in (63) schools

The Al-Kafeel Scouts Association, affiliated to the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine, organized a ceremony in honor of 2120 teachers in 63 schools in the province of Karbala, on the occasion of teacher's day.

The commissioner general of the association, Scout leader Ali Hussein Abdul Zeid, said: "the initiative comes to highlight the vital role played by teachers in building society, through transferring values and knowledge to the younger generations, and in appreciation of the valuable efforts made by teachers to educate and guide students.

He added,"the ceremony witnessed a set of activities that included delivering appreciative speeches, chants, educational dialogue sessions on the role of teachers in the upbringing of generations, and then honoring (2120) teachers with gifts in kind".
He continued that "the association thanked the parents for the efforts of their children from the Scout elements belonging to the association, who contributed greatly to the success of this distinctive and important initiative".
