The central Quranic Khatmah of the month of Ramadhan witnesses a wide participation of visitors at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine

The central Quranic Khatmah of the month of Ramadhan, witnessed on its second day, a wide participation of the visitors of Master Abua al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The Khatmah is organized by the scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Institute of the Holy Quran.

The director of the Institute, Sheikh Jawad al-Nasrawi, said:"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has been holding the recited Quranic Khatmah of the month of Ramadan for the tenth year in a row, in the holy courtyard, throughout the days of the holy month, and a full Juz' [part] of the Holy Quran is read in it every day.

"The Blessed Juz' is recited by a group of glorious reciters and readers who have undergone a set of tests, in addition to involving a group of readers of the holy shrines, and other readers from various Iraqi provinces,"he added.

Nasrawi explained that"the Khatmah will witness the participation of various segments of society, as there will be a special day for the participation of security forces, and another day for students of religious sciences, as well as buds from the memorizers of the Holy Quran, University professors, as well as the segment of doctors".

"One of the objectives of the Khatmah is to spread the Quranic culture and teach the participants the correct reading of the Holy Quran by listening to the recitations at the Khatmah events,"al-Nasrawi said.

The activities of the central Quranic recitation begin daily at (4 pm), throughout the holy month, where (4) readers take turns to read a full part of the Holy Quran, on a daily basis.

The scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched the recited central Quranic Khatmah of the holy month of Ramadhan, coinciding with the advent of the holy month of Ramadhan with the participation of more than (80) readers.
