The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds daily Quranic sessions for the African community in Iraq

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine holds daily Quranic sessions for students of religious sciences from the African communities in Najaf and Karbala; coinciding with the advent of the holy month.

The sessions are organized by the Department's African Studies Center.

"The Quranic sessions will continue throughout the holy month of Ramadhan, to complete the Blessed daily Quranic conclusion by African Religious Science students in the provinces of Najaf and Karbala,"said Durgham al-Ibrahimi, the Quranic project officer at the center.

He added that"this Quranic program is one of the annual projects adopted by the center annually, with the aim of spreading the Quranic culture in various communities". The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to invest the holy month of Ramadhan with a variety of Quranic and devotional programs."
