An Iraqi contestant won the third episode of the Al-Ameed International Quran recitation Award competition

The third episode of the Al-ameed Award international competition for the recitation of the Holy Quran witnessed the victory of the reader Ahmed Jamal al-Rikabi from Dhi Qar province.

The competition is held by the scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, with the participation of (21) Arab and foreign countries.

Al-Rikabi said that"the Al-Ameed international competition for the recitation of the Holy Quran, which was held by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, is a qualitative competition, and included distinctive paragraphs and participants from different countries".
"During the competition, we witnessed a variety of recitations, prayers, and others,"he added.

Al-Rikabi praised the high Organization of the competition, expressing his thanks to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for its role in serving the Holy Quran.

The third episode of the competition started with an Iraqi-style Quranic recitation by the reader; Haydar Gelokhan, followed by the presentation and evaluation of the performance of the participants, namely Ahmed Jamal al-Rikabi from Iraq, Mohammed Osman Ghani from Bangladesh, the child Mohammed Aheeb Naqshabandi from Syria, Mandhoor Ahmed from India, to conclude with the announcement of the winner.

The scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, through its various Quranic activities, aims to promote the recitation of the Holy Book of Allah and promote its faith and cultural values around the world.
