Al-Kafeel hospital receives medical physics students to learn about radiography

A number of medical physics students at Karbala University were briefed on medical imaging techniques at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital.

Dr. Ali Hussein, a lecturer at the Department of Applied Medical Physics at Karbala University, said that " a number of our students conducted a field visit and tour at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital, as a practical part of what they studied in the theoretical aspect of medical imaging," indicating that "the students got acquainted with radiology and resonance devices directly, and learned about the methods of operation and imaging, as well as roaming in other departments of the hospital and familiarizing themselves with its modern technologies."

Hussein stressed the "importance of cooperation between the University and the hospital because it allows students to learn and familiarize themselves with modern medical devices, which qualifies them to work on them in the future," expressing his thanks to the hospital in providing students with the opportunity to link education with practical reality and thus acquire skills and keep pace with the development in the specialty of their studies."
