A Moroccan contestant won the fifth episode of the Al-Ameed Award International Quran recitation competition

The competitions of the fifth episode of the Al-Ameed International Prize for reciting the Holy Quran witnessed the victory of the Moroccan contestant Zakaria al-Zirk.

The competition is held by the scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, with the participation of readers from (21) Arab and foreign countries, coinciding with the advent of the holy month of Ramadhan.

"The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has given the opportunity to many readers in this competition to put their talents in front of the world and in front of the competent hands of professional juries in this field,"al-Zirk said.
"The competition highlights the readers of the Islamic world from young to old,"he added.

The fifth episode, which began with an Iraqi-style Quranic recitation by the reader of Imam Ali's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Hani al-Mousawi, witnessed the performance of the contestants (Mohammed Suhaib from Pakistan, Taleb al-Qanoubi from Oman, the child Mohammed Abu Bakr from Pakistan, and the winner of the episode, Zakaria al-Zirk from Morocco), and was evaluated by the judging committee.

The competition comes as one of the contributions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to spread the Quranic culture, as the correct method for the goodness of the individual and society.
