A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super speciality Hospital has successfully performed a complex operation on a young woman suffering from multiple throat problems after she was shot in the neck area.
The specialist in ear, nose and throat surgery at the hospital, Dr. Nadhem Omran, said that "a complex surgical operation was performed on a young woman in the third decade of life, who was shot in the neck area after random throwing, which caused her multiple health complications, including vocal cord cutting and sticking to the larynx," pointing out that "the surgery was carried out in several stages."
Omran added that the operation was performed with high precision, during which we were able to suture the vocal cords and loosen the adhesion using modern laser technology, while he pointed out that the cumulative experience of the medical team and modern devices in the operating theaters greatly facilitated the success of these complex operations.
