The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine receives the banner of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) from the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Shrine

The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine received the banner of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) from the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon them) to raise it on the auspicious birth anniversary on the 15th of the month of Ramadhan.

The delegation was received by the head of the public relations department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Mohammed Ali Azhar.

The assistant head of the public relations department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Mohammad Gelokhan, said: "the banner of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) was handed over to the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine by a delegation from the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine; to raise it on the night of his blessed birth anniversary, which falls on the 15th of the month of Ramadhan in all the Holy Shrines in Iraq."

"The rituals of raising the banner of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) are a festive custom that the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine used to hold every year by preparing a special platform to celebrate his auspicious birth anniversary,"he added.

For his part, the head of the public relations department at the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) shrine; Sayed Abdul Amir Abdullah, said: "ceremonies will be held to raise the banner of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) on his birth anniversary at all the holy shrines in Iraq, and this will be accompanied by a celebration in the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) next Tuesday at nine o'clock in the evening."
