The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) and the Blessed nights of Qadr in four countries of the African continent.
The events were held in each of the countries (Kenya, Liberia, Benin, Chad) as part of a program organized by the African Studies Center of the Department to commemorate religious events in the holy month of Ramadhan.
It included the establishment of mourning councils and the performance of the work of the Blessed nights of al-Qadr, under the supervision of the center's coordinators on the African continent, with the wide participation of the followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The events included giving religious lectures that mentioned the efforts of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and his position in Islam, and his courageous positions in defending the Holy Prophet (may Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), as well as reviewing his noble life and fragrant biography.
