Al-Kafeel Hospital signs a memorandum of cooperation with Aster Indian Medical Group

Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Indian Medical Group "Aster" specialized in the development of medical services and training.

The signing of the memorandum was attended by the member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, the director of the hospital, Dr. Jassim al-Ibrahimi, the presidents of Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed universities, Dr. Nawras al-Dahan, and Dr. Jawdat al-Jash'ami.

The head of the medical department at the hospital, Dr. Ahmed Aboudi, said that "the memorandum of cooperation brought together a number of institutions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, namely Al-Kafeel Hospital, Al-Ameed and Al-Kafeel universities, with Aster Group, which oversees more than (34) hospitals and medical universities in some Arab and foreign countries, specialized in the development of medical services and training.

He added that" the agreement included special teaching programs at universities, in addition to applied development programs with patients, "pointing out that"the joint work program will be for a number of complex surgeries and microspecialties."

He pointed out that"the specialties from which the program will be launched are complex oncological surgery, brain surgery, neurology, and cardiac surgery, as well as the development of nursing staff in microspecialties, such as cardiac and intensive care, dialysis and kidney transplantation".

Al-Aboudi stressed the hospital's keenness to develop the services provided to patients by attracting medical expertise from around the world.
