The sincere Iraqi artisans have finished the installation works of the parts constituent the tracery (Duhna) of the holy shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

The Iraqi artisans working in the manufacture of the new grid of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) have finished the installation works of all the 14 parts constituent the tracery (Duhna), which is one of the important stages of the holy shrine's works, preparing its installation on the wooden structure.

Al-Kafeel Network has witnessed the high vigour and energy of the workers who, have spared no effort and time to complete this project within the time and specifications set for it. And as a result of the combination of these efforts and thanks to the blessings of His holiness Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), from which they were inspired in each stage of the work, they have completed all the works that are extremely important from the point of manufacturing and installation.

These installation works included a compilation of the golden triangles (right and left) made of pure 22 carat Gold, with a thickness of 1mm and measurement of (77 cm x 52 cm) for each triangle, as well as the wooden frames coated with silver frame and lined with stainless steal frames, all of which joined at a point called the crown of triangle (14 triangle's crowns), also made of pure 22 carat gold with a thickness of 1,23 mm, installed on the pieces of the tracery consisting of 238 whole balls, 36 hemispheres and 501 handles (Zubanah), all of which are made of 999 carat silver mixed by 2% of pure gold. The wooden structure that is coated with silver stripes (1,5 mm) embraces all of these pieces.

After completing all works of combining all the pieces of the tracery, which was preceded by the completion of the installation of the corner and lateral columns with their golden crowns, roses and vases at the top of each corner, in addition to the 14 lower tracery bases distributed on the perimeter of the grid with their 18 roses that are located at its lateral sides. Now, the installation works of these tracery on the wooden structure will start, by which completion, the works on the new grid will be at their very advanced stages.

It is to mention that the new grid of the shrine of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was manufactured in the workshops of the crafts' factory belonging to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine with high quality, durability and accuracy. In fact it is the first grid which is entirely manufactured in Iraq with Iraqi handicrafts-men. It is also characterized by the originality of its engravings and decorations in addition to the fact that it keeps the same overall structure and engravings of the old one, with few additions, upgrades and modifications, because of its uniqueness design comparing to the grids of the holy shrines in Iraq and in the Islamic world.
